Open Office Suite is a software suite that allows you to create and edit Word, Excel and Powerpoint files and read and write PDF files at a fraction of the price of Microsoft Office and Adobe.
Applications include:
- Writer - a fully equipped word processor.
- Calc - an all-purpose spreadsheet.
- Impress - to create multimedia presentations.
- Draw - a powerful graphics program.
- Base - the new way to access databases.
Open Office Suite sells for $47, compared to about $400 for Microsoft Office.
